A shadow all in black
Thrown on the cul-de-sac
In a tackle of spokes
I stood upright and rode

Myriad window frames
Many houses with names
Everglade, Albion
Lakewood, Arcadia

Fill internal ravines

Since my truth was defaced

To navigate the sprawl

They surged on, incessant

Through dense and beautiful
And insurmountable

Colour spread again
