Caffeine

Strung out on lack of sleep and too much caffeine
I’m hanging on by a thread, know what I mean
Think I’ve almost convinced myself
I could pull it off, without falling asleep
These thoughts rejuvenate me, but I can’t see straight

I know the situations all my fault
And I’m always dragging everyone along
Bend the rules until they break
Not sure how much more they can take

Staring down yellow lines as they confront me
Trying to focus on what’s in front of me
Think I’ve almost convinced myself
