Thank God It’s Only the Apocalypse

In the blink of an eye
Three years drifted by
But the world seemed to stop
Everything was on standby
The smart ones stayed inside
While the others had a chance to die
Dropping left and right
I'm sure it was hard to say goodbye
To the ones that could have easily prevented their demise
Why was it so hard for them to compromise

Thank God it's only the apocalypse
It's much better than a permanent eclipse
Slowly freezing to death is not ideal
Just do it in onе fell swoop so I don't have to feel anything

Herе we are sitting face to face
Wondering what has happened around us
Surrounded by the ruins of a once busy place
How will we ever adjust
Nobody is fit to be alone in this wasteland
We used to depend on things, now we can't understand
