Overflowing
The lightbulb's on above my head
It whispers down "You're not dead yet"
It's obviously a blatant lie
'Cause my brain says that I died
I ran away to clear some space
Between my ears where the guilt remains
I built a dam now it's breaking up
The water's through the rocks
Overflowing hell rains down
As the people below me escape from their town
Sirens roar through the night like thunder and ice
As silence falls
The lights are out it's quiet now
The people gone no life around
An eerie pause slowly killing me
I wish that I couldn't swim
Overlooking my humanity I see some
Evidence beside an appletree
But it's hard to place must be Outerspace
And I'm not an astronaut
Overflowing hell rains down
As the people below me escape from their town
Sirens roar through the night like thunder and ice
As silence falls
