Jesus, My Lord

While reading the other day I
Ran across a thought
This is what it had to say
A young man not long ago in another land
Carried a story that brought
Hope to troubled man
Some accepted some rejected
Some did not understand
His story was one of love, hope and peace
He brought love to the motherless child
He gave hope to those in despair
He promised peace to those in prayer
Even though this young man lived 2
000 years ago
He told how to have peace in our land
This peace is not found though the spilling
Of blood in a foreign land
But it's found through the shedding of
Tears from the heart of man

His name is Jesus his name is Jesus
He is the Answer jesus My Lord
