Night of the Living Dead

My car ran out eventually
And I was miles from home
I started walking quickly
'Cause I was all on my own
I came upon a village
The moon behind the cloud
Something brushed against my face
It made me scream out loud

Well, running through the darkness
With footsteps close behind
They seem to be getting closer
I think I lost my mind
I stumble to a graveyard
I trip and gash my head
A groaning voice said, "Welcome
To the night of living dead"

A creature knelt beside me
His face fillеd with doom
Hands appeared from nowherе
And dragged me to a tomb
Gravestones started moving
And hands began to stamp
Red blood was pumping from my wound
And dripping down on land

The creatures gathered around me
My eyes are tightly shut
I cry and scream in terror
As they ripped out my guts
But now that I have joined them
No brain inside my head
Why don’t you come and join us
On the night of living dead

But now my heart is empty
And I only wanna kill
I know just what I'm doing
But I can't control my will
We move in one big army
We’re taking over towns
Killing everything that moves
Anything that makes a sound

If I don't get my fill then
My head begins to pound
So I take what food I can
From boxes in the ground
I know the day will come
When you all will be the same
We'll have to eat each other
Just to take away the pain

I wish that I could end it
But I know that I can't die
There ain't no way to stop us
Believe me, I have tried
We're slowly taking over
With a never ending fear
So try to hide yourself away
'Cause we're getting near

Well, take a look at your close friend
’Cause he may be one of us
There ain’t no room for sympathy
No one you can trust
This living dead disease
It spreads throughout the land
Stay away from graves
And avoid us if you can

Join us
