What Is My Hope?

What is my hope in life and death?
That we are not our own but belong
Body and soul both in life and death to
Our savior and our God

For he has paind fully for my sin
By his blood and set me
Free from the power of the devil and man

I am no longer bound
I'm a child of God

And he preserves me and such a way
That not a hair can fall from my head without
The will of God full of glory and grace

He works everything for my salvation

Praise him!

And if we live, we live for the lord
And if we die, we die to the lord
And if we live, we live for the lord
And die to the lord

So then, if life or death
We are the lord's children
What glorious hope is this?
A resurrection gift
Of consolation; restoration

The loves we loved
The beauties but new
Imagine the glory
The joy and the truth

Hope won't put us to shame
God's love has been poured out
His spirit given to us
Ungodly made righteous

And if we live, we live for the lord
And if we die, we die to the lord
And if we live, we live for the lord
And die to the lord

So then, if life or death
We are the lord's children
What glorious hope is this?
