The Elephant’s Foot
I tire of this lonesome ground
Sunsoaked, devoid of sound
My thoughts now eat at me
I long to cease to be
I've punished all of man
To rid this earth of sin
Coward, don't beg to me
I'll show you no mercy
I am not the one who's dragged you down
Throw that blame back on yourself
Don't speak ill of those who've held their toungues
They'll be saved when salvation comes
God grant my penance and end my existence
Lucifer take me, at least hell won't be empty
Salvation never comes
I scream but am not heard
Silence swallows my words
I die but not in vain
God I can not be saved
