Soldier of Sand

Watch as smoke would fill the air
With the absence of sound
With the chaos that surrounds
Muffled screams in anguish
From beneath the surface
And the nervous hands shaking beneath
The hordes of the Persian invasion

As their sons are haunted
By the stench of sulfur
And their fathers are skinned from the earth
Legions fall beneath the sword
Time and blood soaked by the sands

Scream for help in endless amounts
As thе blood would pour from your mouth
Lock inside the brutality
Giving your lives to thе sands of time

And their bones would crumble to sand
From the fields of fire arose
Upon its weary men

With no living surrounding the land
My fallen brothers lay buried in sand
Feeling as the sun would try to pour down my face
Bloodshot to red now no one remains
Biting underneath the dirt is this what you want
My innocence buried in the gore

As the Persian empire would smile down on my grave
And the foundation reduced to ruin

Foreign mind invade the land
Ceasing all who oppose
Taking claim to the riches of the deceased

As you utter your last bloody cough
Watch your family turn to dust

Reaping the benefits of my rage
Putrid stinking blood
Is all that's left as I sin
