Against The Flow
I have wrinkles on my face, they don't make me feel older
Everytime we laugh together, they get deeper and deeper
So why would I want to get rid of them just to look somewhat younger?!
Each and every wrinkle reminds me of the good times we had together
I have callouses on my hands from working hard
For all that I have, for the ones I love
Should I be ashamed for having these on my hands?
Well, I wear them with pride cause they show that I did all I can
This society says these are defects
I say: Fuck society! I'll stick to my memories
This society says these are defects
Fuck society! We're only making memories
Not all of our bad decisions disappear without a trace
Some of them leave a scar behind to remind us of our mistakes
There are so many ways to hide 'em, but why would I want to do that
It ain't a shame to make mistakes, unless if you don't learn from them
This society says these are defects
I say: Fuck society! I'll stick to my memories
This society says these are defects
Fuck society! We're only making memories
Everything that ever truly meant something for me
Has been immortalized with ink, underneath my skin
I would never remove any of these tattoos
I could never regret that I lived and loved for you!
