It started out so innocent slowly sliding down the rope
Easy to implement and touch the ground
But in my fragility the ground disappears under my feet
Losing my stability, letting the dark in

And in the night when I couldn't sleep
You haunted me, you stroke me to the point where I couldn't breathe
Like nightmares you come creeping in
