Rainbow Forest
Alan Wexler, Sinne Eeg
There's a forest where rainbows grow
Where light takes the shape of flowers
And birds with bright blue feathers
Paint the porcelain sky
There's a forest where rubies hang from trees
Redder than the reddest apples
Where the stones are stars that have come for a while
To rest their eyes
There's a forest made from the scraps of a million dreams
That dance on the breeze like crystal fireflies
And the sound of the river is the voice of a child
Singing
