ONITSUKA
Hand out the window, my phone with no signal
There's planes overhead, I'm out in Houston, Uber
Asked for the time but the shrink must've heard wrong
Sat me down, took my hand, and ran me my future
Bleak, but it's worse that the motel man thought I'm wearing ASICS
They're Onitsukas
Only took a minute to figure out I'm new here
Only it took a minute to figure out I'm clueless
Said I'm headed down south with this baggage
Duffels? Nah, emotional anguish
Phone still acting
I had a couple shots, now I speak the language
Then I had a couple thoughts that I'll keep to myself
Then I got a little fade that I seen in a magazine
Then I thought my face should be in a magazine
Then the sun set, I don't see well
I'm just here for a day, I'm not fussed about the details
It's getting late out, I heard the moon say
She knows reds that'll come and take the blues away
So I'm cutting through reds till I lose the way
With some reads that'll never see blues again
This phone's still running on careless
And this passport's running out of pages
