As shadows dance 'cross the floor
My thoughts start to wander
What do I have, where I am
What could have been

A future that once looked so bright
So easily broken
With a rage hidden deep down inside
A spark's all it takes

Every hour, day and year
Full of regrets

Punishment
Is all that's left
All I have to pay with
Is my life
So I'll give it gladly

A flash of cold steel in the night
My rage had me blinded
As I saw the blood on my hands I thought
What have I done?

I've taken another mans life
Fo that I must suffer
The rest of my days behind bars
Sentenced to die
