World Of Lies
Who i am doesn't matter
I have to blend in
It's just so much simpler
To wear this false skin
I have to careful
Not to show through the seams
Or i'll be detected
By emotion machines
I only permitted
30 words a day spoken
And most of the time
I use them on slogans
Our masks have no features
They're faceless and plain
No smile of pleasure
No wince of pain
Into the framework
I'm electronically woven
Every morning i wake
And drink obedience potion
I won't color
Outside any of the lines
You'll make sure
I stay within the guidelines
Sometimes i wonder
Why we need this disguise
Then i remember
It's a world of lies
