Hidden from the World of Day

The night has become day
Darkened skies are left to be seen
I remain distant from the sun
For unknown amount of time

I shall remain hidden
From the world of day
And embrace my calling
As a creature of the night

The influence it brings
The atmosphere it carries
Fills me with a never-ending
Flow of inspiration

The cost for this life
And the burden it brings
Carries an everlasting
