Bluer Than a Bluebird
Every day she wakes up
Thinking about
All the things that she had
Now she lives without
And every hour in her ivory tower
She plucks petals from the dying flowers
Every minute there is
She spends on her own
Every dress that she wears
Is tattered and torn
Coz everything that she had
She bet on a ring
She just forgot one thing
He said "It wasn't for him"
Bluer than a bluebird
Where are her blue skies?
She miles away
Flying over the sea
Imagining she's high
As high as can be
So tired of living alone
She dreamt that he came home
But in the morning he's flown
Bluer than a bluebird
Where are her blue skies?
He's gone for good
She thought he understood
She need colors
But she's bluer than a bluebird
Her wings don't fly
She's left just wondering "Why?"
Where are her blue skies?
