This House
This house needs a cat to kick
Instead of poor old me
A dog to boot, a fox to shoot
And swing by tail from tree
This house needs a voodoo doll
To push and pin and prick
Stalker to set off alarm
A car window to brick
This house doesn't need a kiss
Planted on its lips
Just gelignite or limpet mine
To more its frigid hips
What this situation wants
What it really needs
Is clearly so much more of you
And so much less of me
What it needs much less of
What it needs much more
Is more of you and less of me
As I walk out that door
This love needs two punch bags
To park right next to bed
And maybe one in kitchen
To go with mine in shed
This love don't need a bullet
No guillotine or knife
Maybe just electric chair
To bring it back to life
This love does not need a shot
Of vodka, whiskey, gin
Just a pair of laced up bovver boots
To kick its head right in
What this situation wants
What it really needs
Is clearly so much more of you
And so much less of me
What it needs much less of
What it needs much more
Is more of you and less of me
As I walk out that door
This heart does not need a heart
That shows it such disdain
Just one that quietly flutters by itself
Whilst pumping blood to brain
What this situation wants
What it really needs
Is one of us on mountain top
And me off in the breeze
What it needs much less of
What it needs much more
Is more of you and less of me
As I walk out that door
