I remember when the sun would shine
Now my days are gray
And every time I try to close my eyes I cant sleep anyways

I'm waiting for the day where I can finally drop disguise
Just relax and close my eyes take me to a place
Where I can take my mind hit reset and just unwind why can't I find
A place that I can drift away with all things I fantasize
It's hard enough when you're fighting trying to just get up
When everything around you is dividing hiding is your best of luck
And yeah it's messed on up but any day could be your last goodbye
Last goodnight hug one tight blow a kiss to the ones you love
And you know that she just left for another man yeah
Broken heart you're torn apart you know they won't understand
Just cover that but you're world is split and torn up from that
You can't just run from that so you throw it into crumbled raps
But maybe one day somewhere soon we'll turn up a place

I must've be doodling in school knowing not what's coming to
No fruition just a vision that I lost and now I'm missing
Sitting reminiscing hoping just to see it someday soon
If I could see whats to come all the things I might've done
Would I change whats become that of my outcome
Or would I just be happy man I look at how far I have come
Since a little kid growing up time is moving quick
Cause we all long to just grow up hit a growth spurt and then split
Pave our own way and not knowing what all comes equipped
It's like a puzzle but you're left with pieces to it that won't fit
But you only get one shot so you know you'll never fold or quit
But those the days I miss we'll never see those days again
Embrace it then face ahead until we find that place we can
