He decided to expand his knowledge of subjects and ideas he had up to now been unaware of
Concious of his ignorance, he headed for a shelf and chose one at random, saying

Sat down in front of his television he'd turn the picture up and start where he left off -
Until it meant what he thought it did and ignorance was bliss
