beneath the earth I crawl blind & numb
my fingers tease for any hint of you
the heat of you glows red behind my eyes
& I follow the trail & I follow your trail
you glow with a luminous rot
you grow with a mysterious rot
within the soil I am contained
your tendrils itch & grow towards
as I worm away from your burning skin
my eyes too blind my ears too deaf to hear
