Her heart is hot, her face cold
Leaning the banks, weaving the road
Sea gulls squawk on sand and foam
Redwoods sway
And the cypress moan

For many miles she will roam
With the wind
Tangling her red weather vane
Her name is Sapphire

Emerald, amber, ruby light
Gemstone towers of night
Blue is sparkling inside her heart
But she keeps it out of sight
