Mercury Burns and Eats Itself
Consciousness arrives, the spark of the divine
Soaring delicate fire to a hyper righteous bloody mind
I am a gaunt and sweaty virgin walking out between the churches
The smell of wet paint, of like, rain and something burning
The buildings are a blur to me
Like white mountains of mercury
Oh, the definition splinters
It drifts and splits over the distances
And I'm caught drinking the water all of our flowers withered in
