Waking up, I drag myself out of bed
I can't escape this overwhelming sense of dread
When it finally feels like I can spend
My life like I want
I've got a new thing, but im down the same hole again
Try my best at writing
Some meaning into whining

Like it means anything
All the kids around my age
Are planning out their dreams
Im still trying to figure out

To go back to the place I hate
Everything is hanging onto

There's someone I knew in highschool sitting right across the aisle
I knew she wouldn't recognize me
She's got a gun inside her Bible
My thoughts betray my conscience
Feel like I'm lying to myself
What difference would it make
Its what I do with everyone else
No one's called me in 6 months
No one cares if I need help
But yet they come to me with problems
That they could have fixed themselves
