It's been a while since I saw you for the last time
Used to meet up blowing smoke just to pass time
Till you showed your true colours had a dark side
And stabbed me in the back with a sharp knife
Lying all the time like it's a daily habit
Finding out that you'd been cheating done some fatal damage
Still I tried to stick around until I couldn't manage
Cause all of my thoughts kept painting pictures that just wouldn't vanish
Eating me alive until I couldn't cope no more
Until that point I hadn't felt this low before
Got this baggage on my shoulders and it's mostly yours
Man I thought that time would help and meant I'd slowly cure

But that sums you up completely, to think I would get excited
When we used to meet

These emotions still feel new to me
And I'm not sure how I should handle the pain inside
Without numbing it with drink or smoking up to get high
