I must admit, its quite a shame, I didn't even know her name
But really what's a boy to do?
A rooftop party, billed for two
So listen closely, if you please, 'twould help to put my mind at ease
I should recall most everything, but the last thing I'm remembering

I found: the rain's coming down, no one's making a sound
Dear me, there's hundreds of people just staring at me

We only met an hour ago, the circumstance I do not know
She told me she could use a talk and asked me if I'd take a walk

I'm confused, nobody's winning, we're both being used
