So much left to say and the hours roll by
Time is not so endless to this relentless mind
Reaching for a thought but it's gone before the words
The sun takes rise, I close the blinds
I failed again today

Enter the mind
You might slip too far
Reality hides
But not for me
Is it the last ride
Maybe this time
I'm shedding the skin no god gave me

Find me gone and cold in the cage
Waited so long for this day
I'm alive in an altered state
Traveling the unconscious landscape

Pounding on the door
I'm afraid of the outside
Ringing of the phone
But it's not plugged into the wall
Solitude is key
To unlock this mystery
It's getting close I feel it
