Man this morning really kind of sucked
I'm waking up just with my brain feeling kind of slushed
Tire flat car dead plus I'm kind of stuck
Standing in my driveway I locked them keys in the trunk
Enough's enough its kind of rough
When you crushed feeling like two shots to the gut
Looking at the news its true that its kind of nuts
Its like we choose how to hate forgot now who to love
On day like these it's kind of tough
To choose joy but Im speaking now that your enough
I'm praying Lord I can hear you cutting thru the junk
In a world that wants break me down Lord I need a touch
I'm standing up cause i know your plan enough
To know that when my plan is stuck then Im manning up
And trusting you to guide me with your hand of love
And provide me all i need when that time is up
Today i prayed be exalted in my life today…
Take my sin would you begin to start to wipe away
Cause in your presence in your essence where I try to stay
Come Holy Spirit you are my truth and my Hide away
Dont wanna be a slave now of my decay
Sometimes i stray would you help me go and find a way
All i want is for you to have the final say
Instead of going round and round like time when the vinyl play
In the final days would you help me though
Would you help me listen any time you tell me no
Stretch my comfort zone like you bend my bow
Rescue me from the fire like abendego
