Castles on the Beach

But just everything in our lives

But the tide comes in inevitably, knocks it down
The first time that you build something you're really proud of
And it gets knocked down, it's like soul-crushing, you know?
Um, some people rush out, they like run away from the waves
And thеy never come back, you know?
And thеn you also see people who see the waves comin' in
And they're just havin' fun, splashing around in the water
They're— They're immersing themselves in that moment too
Like that's actually kinda like the beauty in the cyclical nature of our lives
Is that you can start over
It's expected, actually
From a certain perspective
If you accept that nothing's permanent, you know?
Including who you are
