Floodgates

Like waterfalls unfreeze from winter
Like the rain pours down at night
Let it go like a flowing river
Keep the floodgates open wide

If it’s a feeling, you should feel it
If it’s a rhyme, then write the line
If it’s the truth, you can’t wish it away

Everything in time makes sense
After the storm, the sky, it clears
