Spirit of Jesus
The other day, i nearly lost my way
But the Spirit of Jesus helped me not to stray
I almost said some things I shouldn't say
But the Spirit of Jesus gave me words of grace
And I know

I'm not on my own
(I know the Word of God tells me so)
For the Spirit of Jesus
Is moving and guiding
Protecting, providing
And completing His will in me
When I'm discouraged and my hope grows weak
Then the Spirit of Jesus comes to comfort me
I can rejoice in things I cannot see
For the Spirit of Jesus gives the faith I need
And I know

The spirit is love, the spirit is joy
Patience, kindness and peace
And the Spirit of Jesus is living in me
