I don't want to be human
Soul and body are ever long at war
Give me over to freedom
I won't suffer this prison anymore
My skin is itching, my bones are screaming
If I could be a little less, I think I'd have a little more
Can I have petals, can I have leaves
Can I be a mere aroma carried by the breeze
Maybe I could just be felt
Something never heard or seen
Neither fading or alive but something in between
My heart's too heavy
And it's not that I want to disappear
But just vary
Live a different life because I don't belong here
I don't want to be human
