Endling
I was in the driveway sitting in the backseat of my own car.
I watch a car glide up to my house and a woman takes the computer chair I left on the curb.
She comes up to my car and looks throught my window but doesn't see me somehow,
She starts jiggling the handle, getting more and more aggressive, I hear her say hello but...
It sounds wrong, garbled, like an imitation.
There are loud noises in the car now.
Scraping and droning growls pierce my body and paralyze me in place.
I don't believe she is human.
I wake up scared.
Everyday, i make peace and break bones
Put on display, my latest piece in acetone
Not another way, to leave it writ in stone
Dripping heat and left alone
Wishing please please please dont
Enveloped by a warm cloud of acidic remembrances
Developed on the floor next to the empty second chances
A simple hell on earth built to reap your consequences
I couldnt tell inert words apart from deadly glances
Accepting the idea and flexing your ideals you
Mesh into the flies here with their short sighted view and
Decompose the essence of all that i could do
Everday the desolation and rot seep through.
