Always lost so losing was the same

Consternation - Concern - Dismay
Theocratic jack boots - crunching down the door
Moral suppression - sawing through the floor
The bottom dropped out of all that feels good
Another diversion where truth once stood
Made no difference which side I took
Hypocrites everywhere by the book
