Transgressions through life’s procession
Endless torture by its deeds
Voice of reason and gods’ seed
Dispossession of the Qi (ch’I = Xai )

May forever heavens fail
For the glory of a night in hell
May the fever once more sail
Emanation of decay

Dead heart, green stone of times
Strayed into Yama’s court

Fleeing souls to the light
Captured by the ghastly ones
Stern and fierce awaits
The water where no fire burns
