The poet

Hound Dog, Eddie Holman

[Verse] Hound Dog
Text messagin' shorties, no foul intentions
I got ghost stories but I ain't fake, shit (nah)
I been on the lookout, no binoculars
Cheesing at her pictures, I know she popular
Wasting my time writing poems for 'em
I get no flowers for the love I show 'em (nah)
They killin' the poet, it don't matter to 'em (yeah)
But the sun comes out in the mornin'
Immune to all the bullshit he ain't got no poison
'xcept the women with the flaws he's chosen (yeah)
He can't keep livin' with a heart that's broken
So hе fills the void with whoever's closеst
Don't take it personal you know he's hurt and (yeah)
Extremely emotional but he's working on it
You can smell the roses when he approaches
You'll break his heart, he'll blame himself for it
He's a part of me, he speaks soft-ly
Silky words with a very soothing melody
When the poet breaks silence he got something to say
Keep it quiet, let us hear his parlay
If he talking to you, he barely mentions your name
But if the shoe matches, then the action's the same
He sees your reaction and quickly crumbles again
But it is what it is and those the rules of the game
It's the poet

[Sample] Eddie Holman:
Just say I love her
I've loved her from the start
And tell her how I'm yearning
To say what's in my heart
