Lighthouse

Allow me to address the thoughts of mine
About the waters down here cold and rough and wild
If I elude them once, they drown me twice
I'm far off course on brink of my demise
My only guidance here is just a beacon on my way
As I approach the coasts and all the shadows disappear
I'm sailing seas no one has found before
And I save my prayers since I know I'm not alone
And every mile that's taken here brings me closer to the storm
But the lighthouse carries me back home
I seek for new horizons on my sail
Regardless of the land you'd call my place
Not even there I'm able to return anymore
As every night the moon eclipses, nothing brings me home
