Stone Around Your Neck
Full faced figure floating there on the floor
I felt a black-shaped specter casted there at the door
I was high as a kite when I first heard about her
I thought a black shaped figure standing there was impossible
I lit some candles and I stepped inside into another world
A dark prison where she held me at last, it felt so powerful
I’d like to say it meant any less but it’s already gone
I won’t let go of your hand if you disappear
Because this isn’t real, and you’re not real
I won’t forget if you don't want me to
And if I had the chance, I’d still ask you
That’s when I realized it was me who was dead
How do you sleep through so much yet make the same mistakes your parents did?
There was no other laugh that I heard that seemed like yours
A broken smile shined back as I laughed because I was hers
Miserable hell in which I felt deep inside of to find what I deserved
There in the moment where I pushed her aside to look beyond the curve…
To haunt, to hold, she whispers to me
