Michael & Murphy

01. And there is Michael - an upright fullgrown man
always sticking to the plan, to make the world a better place
Surely no story, ´bout sticking always to the laws
spicked with nice personal flaws - kinda bold

02. But failed expectations - he could never be the same
brought the day when Murphy came - who wouldn´t left
´cause unanswered passion, brought in from the very start
penalities but no reward - it broke his heart

Bridge: Murphy on the back, like a course
it could only get worsе

03. Neverthelеss - asked friends to help him with the mission
to maintain the dream, the vision - in pure desperation
And there was me - practising to decode the problem
what it takes, efforts to help them, what´s the plan?

04. And so it´s on, but not for me, still at step one
others in action, all long gone, my method wrong
No surprise, refused to race like a rat
seems that was what drove Michael mad - Murphy jumped on my back

Bridge: Murphy now on my like a course
it could only get worse

05. In the beginning - I did not know what hit me
but slowly I started to see - and broke down
For the good news - Michael got released from the weight
Dared to execute his escape - and pressed "reset"

06. Today I try to fix our relation
repair the cracks - arosed by failed expectation
And though the chances are pretty low
establish again communication

07. I don´t expect you to accept my apologies
I don´t even insist on my talking
All I want to hear is, where I took the wrong turns
So that I can finally start learning
