I've got a little song for you
It's in the key of E
I didn't use any other chords
Unusual for me
I played it in the USA
I played it down in Japan
I've played it all around the world
I done the best I can
With my one chord blues

Sometimes I play it nice and slow
Sometimes it's loud and fast
I don't care how I play it as long as it will last
And if I get too tired I just might pop off for a sleep
But when I wake up I know the band will be playing E

I tried to keep it on the E
I never go to A
B and C and G and D uhh no way!
I hate those jazz musicians with their F sharps and B flats
Cause when you're in the key of E you know just where it's at

It's incredibly simple
It's something anybody can play
You don't need music lessons
No college fee's to pay
