You gave me every right to love you now you prefer that I leave you alone
You push me away from you and every time you do
You're giving me the right to do wrong
You don't seem to notice that I need you if you care at all it's never shown
Each time you wound my pride by pushing me aside
You're giving me the right to do wrong
By causing me to turn to nameless faces for a love that I can't find at home
By forcing me to look in other places you're giving me the right to do wrong
Perhaps the day will come when you want me
But you'll find the love I had for you is gone
Then while I'll live in shame you can share the blame
