Recollection in a House of Hours
All those nights that we chased our dreams
And wished not to wake
It left me weak, but still, I fought
And still, the passion raged
If I knew now that we had lost
And those dreams were merely dreams
Of tragic times and bald-faced lies
Then how could I ever close my eyes
Beneath the veil of moonlight
Where dreams and nightmares blend
I seek a solace never found
In the shadows that descend
With trembling hands and a heavy heart
I bid the world goodbye
As echoes of my final breath fade into the sky
