waiting

Waiting for a moment
that never came
to tell you the things I wanted to say
but words always come to me afterwards
when nobody cares but I still feel hurt

You said my eyes weren’t beautiful
why would you say something just to be cruel
stepped out of your car into the watery snow
just wanted to go, so I slammed the door

so I spend my time waiting
with all of the things that I am
and it’s all so frustrating
I’m left out again

I’m still in my room and it’s already noon
I haven’t done nothing, still waiting for you
but I’m starting to think that if I would die no one would know
I’d disappear and the plants would still grow

It's been a few days and no missed calls
Just me and my mind to talk through it all
but it only gets darker as the days go by
If i would see you I’d say I’d be fine

so I spend my time waiting
with all of the things that I am
and it’s all so frustrating
I’m left out again

I spend my time talking
To the walls or nothing at all
thinking about past conversations
