so here we are
today for another year
you push me 'round
i'm hurt, but you'll see i'm ok
it's typical
new kid don't know the rules
it's the food chain
you'll see who's boss in this school
it's freezing though it's warm
as i recall
and no it's not by punishment
that i learn
so say goodbye
as you see me now
i'm not hopeless, i'm not dumb
words i won't take
as they slowly pass me by
yeah, i'm leaving

grown up and in plain view
it's years ago we squared off fighting at school
for me now
