Fly Away

If I die today, I did my piece to play the part
I wrote it all from the heart, so take my peace and fly away
To a brighter day, use my art to light the way
Just so my pen has a purpose, and my pain has a passion
All these scenes keep flashing, turning pain into passion
I'm passing with a purpose

All these worries are gone
I put my pain in the song, and move along
I know I'm right, but it feels so wrong
Feeling so alone again, I can't go home again

I remember when, I didn't even have a friend
Thinking, maybe this is the end
Losing the strength to pretend that
I won't die for mine, if you're stepping out of line
I ain't with her, just cause she's fine
She's elevating my sine, while I'm lost in design
Seeking the divine, till I align

I know it's easy to be complacent
It's even easier to find your replacement
Getting to the point, cause these points are adjacent
I see you pacing in your mind
While I'm spacing through this rhyme
Casing the space, like I need a place and time
Wealth is wisdom, getting mine
Mother of the matter, triple 9
Father of the time, living in the prime

I'm just face to face with my fears
Place to place through my tears
I'm focused on my ears, when the silence appears
As a ringing tone, that's a private phone
Connected to the unknown, a message from the most high
"You're destined to fly when you remember why
All is eye, we must fall to fly, at home in the sky
Where the laws don't apply
Eye is me, and eye is me, eye is all eye see
There's no separation, no deprivation
Only dedication, and education
Experience, and knowledge
I've got Sacred Degrees, no college

I walk in the room, talking about elephants
Speaking for the higher good
