Through the Sunlit Door

Fearless as the day will rise upon your aching mind
Through the sunlit door it calls you from the other side
After every scene repeats thru stories no one knows
Describe the ebbing of the tides to where the river flows
Sun's relief at days defeat numbs the pain inside
Leave you to your grieving like a solitary child
Accidents in life's descent will scar us over time
Receding into veils of rain as we begin to climb
