Back from the Past

As the days slowly go by
They blur the long broken nights
Through the fire in my eyes
May dim but never die

Lost out there and left behind
Battling the sands of time
Holding on now for my life
It pulls me back with all it's might

It all happened so fast
Now I'm back from the past
Living in the moment
But how long will it last

Crawling back inside my mind
What will I see what will I find
Strangled by the hands of time
Calling out these memories of time

I relived so many times
Can't go back although it tries
