Sunsets
There's a finger pointing down at me
From a hole between the clouds
I'm being told just how to think and feel
What to say what and what to do
I take my pills and watch my TV
No sudden moves no thoughts of my own
I go to bed and say my prayers
It's a comfortable routine
And the sun sets on everyone
The darkness takes us all
The sun sets on everything
And we forget who we are
I spend hours at the mall
Every Sunday at the church
With folded hands and head down low
I give myself to you
The sun sets on everyone
And the darkness takes us all
The sun sets on everything
And we forget who we are
